No matter the weather, it will be hot at Takomo. Our team is setting the fire for students to forge their startup ideas into real business concepts. Learn by doing, push your limits, grow fast and walk away with a startup concept and a team that’s been tested in fire to last.
What is Takomo?
Every idea starts as raw metal — full of potential, waiting to be shaped. Takomo is the space where you heat that idea, hammer it, and turn it into something real.
It’s an intense, hands-on startup bootcamp built for Xamk students from all four campuses who are ready to take the raw ideas to the next stage and start shaping them into real startups.
For one weekend, founders and builders come together to create, test, and refine business concepts under pressure — surrounded by mentors, new teammates, and the kind of energy that only happens when people decide to do instead of dream.
There are max 20 spots. All you need is curiosity and motivation — we’ll provide the fire.

What We Offer?

Hands-on real-world experience: You don’t learn by watching, you shape your startup by doing.

Create your team: Some bring ideas. Others bring skills, drive, and curiosity. Both are needed to make things happen: together, you’ll create startup concepts from scratch and will form a team that is made to last.

Real mentors, real feedback: Experienced founders and startup coaches are excited to join and share their knowledge with you.

All-inclusive setup: We with the partners will take care of transport, food, and accommodation at Susiniemi Leirikeskus — you focus on building.

Study Credits: As a Xamk student you can get 2 optional credits for participation at Takomo.

You’ve got an idea. Maybe it’s rough, maybe it’s half-formed but it won’t leave your head. You’re ready to take on a challenge and need guidance and a great team to make it happen. Takomo gives you the tools, mentors, and teammates to turn that spark into a business model prototype. Apply as a Founder by 21.12.

Builders
You don’t have an idea yet, but you have the mindset of an entrepreneur and want to learn, experiment, and be a part of something outstanding.
Takomo is your chance to build alongside real founders and experience startup life from the inside.
Whether you’re a coder, designer, marketer, or just someone curious — you belong here. Apply as a Builder by 21.12.
